The AGM was held on March 9th at Scole Inn. 39 members and friends listened to Roger Clarke give a fascinating account of his life with horses and Bloodhounds. We all learnt a lot.
The business part of the meeting saw Gail Sprake elected Chairman, and she gave thanks to Su Mahon who has had the job for the past three years. Suzannah Coke remains Secretary, Jane Love Treasurer, and other committee members re-elected were Roger Bowden, Pauline Davy, Jenny Easton, Dameon Layt, Kerry Long, Su Mahon, Jen Read, Mike Seaman and Robert Styles. We are joined by new committee member Julie Price.
After 23 years as Merchandise Officer, Roger wishes to relinquish the job at the end of this year and would offer help and support to anyone who might like to take over. Our biggest task is to recruit some keen younger members to the core of people who do most of the work for our Group.
